| Ventura County Superior Court |
| The Superior Court of Ventura County services 800,000 individuals from Ventura County. Ventura county; is comprised of three courts, including the Ventura Courthouse, East Ventura Courthouse, and the Juvenile Courthouse. |
| Ventura County has developed a tactical plan to bring members of the community together with members of the court to bridge the gap between the court and the public. Areas of this plan include developing and executing ideas to ensure services for dispute resolution, current and potential jurors as well as to educate the public and make the court programs more accessible for all individuals. |
Self-help centers have been developed to assist individuals who are representing themselves in court, the court does not charge a fee for this service and there are no income eligibility conditions. Outreach programs such as that of the Ventura Court system will drastically change the face of the court by developing a strong community bond, and building Ventura counties trust in the court system. | San Diego County Superior Court |
| The San Diego Superior Court system services all of the three million citizens of San Diego County, from Vista to Chula Vista. The courts manage cases that deal with felonies to small claims cases.
