Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1000Attorneys.com provides a free lawyer referral service to the public. By accessing or using this website and its services, you agree to the terms set forth herein. These terms govern your use of the referral platform, Low-Cost Guidance Program, and any other services we provide.

2. Nature of the Service

Our referral service includes attorneys who are verified members in good standing with the California State Bar. While we periodically review their compliance with professional standards, we do not guarantee their ongoing standing, performance, or the outcome of any legal matter.

We are not a law firm, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using our website or services. Users should consult directly with a qualified attorney for legal decisions.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

1000Attorneys.com is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or results of services provided by referred attorneys. We expressly disclaim all liability for any disputes, malpractice claims, or outcomes arising from attorney-client relationships formed through our referrals. We do not control or influence the fees charged by referred attorneys. Users must confirm and agree upon all fees and services in writing directly with the attorney.

4. Low-Cost Guidance Program

Our $50 Low-Cost Guidance Program provides general legal information and is not a substitute for in-depth legal advice. Responses provided are for informational purposes only and do not create an attorney-client relationship. No attorney-client privilege applies, and users should consult a licensed attorney for case-specific guidance.

5. Content & Reputation Policy

1000Attorneys.com strives to provide efficient, ethical, and reliable lawyer referral services. We actively monitor the performance and professionalism of attorneys in our network. If we receive multiple credible complaints about an attorney, we reserve the right to review the matter and take appropriate disciplinary action, including removal from our network.

THAT SAID, IF A USER HAS A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH A REFERRED ATTORNEY, THE ISSUE MUST BE ADDRESSED DIRECTLY WITH THAT ATTORNEY. REVIEWS SUBMITTED ABOUT 1000ATTORNEYS.COM SHOULD ONLY REFLECT THE REFERRAL EXPERIENCE, AS WE DO NOT CONTROL THE ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP.

USERS AGREE NOT TO POST KNOWINGLY FALSE, DEFAMATORY, OR MALICIOUS CONTENT ABOUT 1000ATTORNEYS.COM. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PURSUE LEGAL REMEDIES FOR FALSE OR HARMFUL REVIEWS INTENDED TO DAMAGE OUR REPUTATION. THIS POLICY COMPLIES WITH THE CONSUMER REVIEW FAIRNESS ACT AND DOES NOT RESTRICT USERS FROM SUBMITTING HONEST, LAWFUL FEEDBACK.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1000Attorneys.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues resulting from your use of our services.

By using this website, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1000Attorneys.com, its affiliates, staff, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising out of your use or misuse of the services or your violation of these terms.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or services provided shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including logos, text, graphics, and design elements—is the property of 1000Attorneys.com and protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction, redistribution, or unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of those changes.

10. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with U.S. laws, including the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). We may collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and legal inquiry details to facilitate referrals and communicate with you. This data may be shared with attorneys or service providers under strict confidentiality agreements.

Anonymized legal questions may be used for educational purposes. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. Users of our free consultation or letter drafting services may be added to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link provided in our emails.

11. Third-Party Disclosure and Links

We do not transfer personally identifiable information to external parties without notice, except to trusted partners who agree to maintain confidentiality. We may use non-personally identifiable data for marketing and analytics. We do not promote unrelated third-party products or services.

12. Legal Compliance and Security

We do not track users when a Do Not Track (DNT) signal is enabled. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.
