For the past several months I have been being singled out by a newly hired manager. I work in a legal division as a support employee. The manager has been using support from a couple of attorneys, creating a fictitious "progressive discipline" case, claiming that I make a lot of mistakes, and basically harassing me for months on in. It is very clear she is trying to get me to quit or get me fired. Every day I go to work there is something new she is trying to bedevil me. I have had to take leaves of absence because of her. What can I do? I have filed complaints but am bascially a target every time I go to work. Can someone please help me?

California has one of the most comprehensive bodies of law protecting classes of individuals from employment discrimination.
The Fair Employment and Housing Act (known as “FEHA”) protects California employees from discrimination based on many different factors, including race, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, and age (if the employee is over 40).
If you believe the harassment you are experiencing is due to any of these reasons, please submit your contact details here and an employment lawyer will contact you to discuss your case further.
